China-Austria (Changzhou) Innovation Center Officially Opens
On March 18, the China-Austria (Changzhou) Innovation Center held its grand opening in Zhonglou District, Changzhou. As a key platform for bilateral tech cooperation, the Center will drive technology matching, project implementation, talent exchange, and cultural engagement—strengthening Changzhou's position as an international manufacturing hub.
Before the ceremony, guests toured the exhibition hall, themed "Manufacturing for Tomorrow," which showcased 55 years of China-Austria diplomatic relations, industrial strengths, and cultural exchanges.
Key attendees included Christian Fuchssteiner (Trade Consul), Magdalena Junez (Deputy Trade Consul) from the Austrian Consulate in Shanghai; Tino Terraneo (GM, ATC Austrian Technologies Group); Fang Jing (Vice Mayor of Changzhou); and Li Desen (District Head of Zhonglou). In his address, Li expressed confidence the Center would become Zhonglou's flagship international platform. Fuchssteiner and Terraneo shared similar visions for deeper bilateral cooperation.
Several agreements were signed during the event: Fronius China Innovation Training Center was unveiled; Phlorobadi and Tellio confirmed their入驻; and Link Inspection Technologies, Huawei Electronics, and Shanghai Fusheng signed overseas expansion deals.
The ceremony concluded with a joint ribbon-cutting by leaders from both nations.

Moving forward, we will continue expanding services, bringing more European technologies and enterprises to Changzhou, while supporting local companies in accessing international markets.
