On the afternoon of 23 July, the CAIC China-Austria Exchange on New Energy Technology, Investment and Commercialization was held at the China-Austria (Changzhou) Innovation Center. Representatives from Wuxing Subdistrict of Zhonglou District, Changzhou; Nanjing Baoneng Smart Energy Co., Ltd.; Hongrax Technology Co., Ltd., TELE Austria’s general representative for the Asia-Pacific region; and CAIC attended the event.
The event focused on new energy technology applications, project matchmaking and industrial collaboration. Through a guided visit, company presentations and thematic discussions, the participants gained a deeper understanding of one another’s capabilities and reached an initial consensus on the direction and mechanism for follow-up cooperation.
Exploring CAIC and Its Platform Services
At the beginning of the event, the guests toured CAIC’s exhibition hall. A CAIC representative introduced the Center’s development background, functional positioning, resource advantages and key services in China-Austria and China-Europe industrial cooperation.
As a cooperation platform connecting Changzhou with innovation resources from Austria and across Europe, CAIC supports Chinese companies expanding overseas, European companies entering and developing in China, technology and project matchmaking, and the introduction of industrial resources. It provides Chinese and international companies with more efficient and practical channels for communication and cooperation.
The visit gave participants a first-hand understanding of CAIC’s platform functions, project space and cross-border resource coordination capabilities, laying a foundation for more targeted cooperation in the new energy sector.

Industry Presentations Focused on New Energy Technologies and Applications
During the presentation session, Nanjing Baoneng Smart Energy introduced its business portfolio, development plans, and experience and future priorities in smart energy and new energy project development.
Representatives from Hongrax Technology and TELE Austria presented their companies, technical products and application scenarios. Linking their presentations to real-world industry needs, they also shared ideas for joint research and development and project deployment.
The event combined on-site discussions with online participation. Topics included new energy technology applications, industrial project implementation, zero-carbon park development and virtual power plants. Each party outlined its business strengths and development needs and discussed potential cooperation models, technical resource matchmaking and project advancement pathways.

From Dialogue to Concrete Cooperation
The event served not only as a connection between companies and technology providers, but also as an in-depth discussion on concrete project opportunities.
Participants focused on joint technology research and development, zero-carbon park demonstration projects, business development in southern Jiangsu, and R&D cooperation related to virtual power plants. They agreed to remain in close contact, further clarify technical requirements, application scenarios and project conditions, and turn initial ideas into actionable proposals.
In the next stage, CAIC will continue to act as a platform and bridge, supporting information exchange, needs alignment and project follow-up, and providing sustained assistance for future cooperation.

The exchange established a direct communication channel among new energy companies, technology service providers and local industrial platforms. Looking ahead, CAIC will continue to focus on new energy, intelligent manufacturing and green, low-carbon development; connect Changzhou with high-quality technologies, companies and innovation resources from Austria and across Europe; and facilitate more China-Austria and China-Europe projects in Changzhou.
